Greenville will be getting "Lowdown" this spring when singer Boz Scaggs comes to the Peace Center.
Scaggs, whose hits include songs like "Lido Shuffle" and "Breakdown Dead Ahead," will perform at the Peace Center April 30. Tickets are $45-$60, and go on sale at 10 a.m . Friday.
The singer is perhaps best-known for his Grammy-winning 1976 song "Lowdown." Scaggs told The Greenville News in 2008 that the jazz-flavored song "has probably served me in more situations than any song I've ever written."
Scaggs' latest album is "A Fool to Care," which features appearances by singers Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams.
