Folk-rock singer-songwriter Amos Lee began his musical career as a University of South Carolina student in the late 1990s.
Now, Lee is returning to the state to perform at the Peace Center.
Tickets for the March 10 show are $35-$55, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 18.
Lee, who earned an English degree from USC, released his debut album in 2005. His sound has been compared to John Prine and Bill Withers.
Lee’s 2011 album “Mission Bell” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart. His latest release, the Memphis-soul-infused “Spirit,” came out in August.
